CEO Mr Acuna Participates on Border Energy Conference
Our CEO, Francisco Acuna was a Moderator and Panelist at the Border Energy Forum XIX, that took place in Sonora, Mexico.
Attendees included the US Ambassador to Mexico and representatives of all US and Mexico Border States.
Mr. Acuna’s contribution focused in a number of clean energy projects within the U.S-Mexico Border that had the potential to benefit the economic dynamics of the region. The presentation focused on the possibilities of involving rural and indigenous communities in both Mexico and the US Border, by launching a North American Clean Energy Cluster, which would provide cheaper energy, better jobs, a large social return for the Border, as well as increasing the competitiveness of North America as a whole. Thus, creating a “New NAFTA” focused in the economy of the future and involving the local communities as strategic stakeholders.
